Earl Gilchrist has over 30 years of experience in the motor vehicle industry in Queensland and now in Tasmania as well.

 

Prior to establishing Autotechnica Aust he was a staff engineer with a major Queensland compliance and vehicle certification office.

​

Earl had previously operated a motor vehicle design and fabrication workshop before returning to university studies. He produced his own range of motorcycle sidecars as well as bespoke components for modified road vehicles.

He has also worked as an Industrial Designer and as a Model-maker before specializing in the motor vehicle industry.
